Le Fant entered the musicscene, spring 2011, with the single “Hunting you”, which was listed on several radiostations, steady video rotation on NRK3 TV- svisj and gained much praise from journalists. Most important, however, is that the song paved the way for a recordcontract in China on OPR(October Party Records) and China tour of 7 cities and 5000 km, after China’s leading altenativrockstar Kang Mao from the band “the Subs” added her love of “Hunting you” and Le Fant
The new second is called “Mazy” , and in many ways a natural continuation of where “Hunting you” left off.
Again, it is Ronnie Le Tekrø and StudioStudio crew behind the production, and again Le found moves in the acoustic landscape between artists like Fleet Foxes and Tim Rice.

Le Fant is not a regular «self pitied man with an acoustic guitar» .
His selfewritten debut album, «Last chance to dance», has an abundance of musical playfulness; original instrumentations, tight but lean, accordion and cello.
Often a dark drive in the background, driven by an uneasy malice rolling piano, always led by the melodic song and soothing voice of Le Fant.

Le Fant’s musical artist career had an unusual start.
Le Fant is by profession a Cameraman.
The short version of the story is that during a lunch break from filming Norwegian guitar hero Ronni Le Tekro, at his studio (named StudioStudio), by chance the StudioStudio crew and Le Fant hit musical jackpot.
Thinking he was alone and all the others were at lunch, Le Fant played a song he recently had made on one of the many guitars he found lying around.
On the other side of the wall, listening, was Mr.Tekro himself.
Now three years after, here is their first finished production together.

Historien om artisten Le Fant begynner med et spontant gitarkjøp på Smart Club, etter at Le Fant hadde gitt seg selv løftet om at han skulle satse på musikk!
Gitaren er nå byttet ut, men gjorde nytte for seg dengang da den ble med Le Fant jorden rundt på jobb, bl a til Hollywood. I suiten til John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin/ Them Crooked Vultures), på det legendariske rock`n`roll hotellet Sunset Marquee, falt de siste brikkene til låter som «Hunting You» på plass. Låta «Hunting You», som handler om jakten på lykken, er den først påbegynte – og sist ferdigstilte låta som har fått plass på Le Fant´s debutplate «Last Chance To Dance» .
Alle låtene er skrevet av Le Fant.
Videoen til «Hunting you» er spilt inn på Hollywood Boulevard og Santa Monica Beach.
Videoen til «Mazy» er spilt inn på gamle ærverdige resturant-«Den Hvite EleFant» på Ingierstrand, Oslo.

Le Fant er artistnavnet til Odd Sprakehaug(vokal og akustisk gitar). Odd Sprakehaug er fra Vatne utenfor Ålesund, vokst opp i Afrika som misjonærbarn og pastorsønn.
Han er fagutdannet maskinarbeider, men skiftet beite etter endt førstegangstjeneste på ubåt og har de siste årene jobbet som tv-fotograf, blant annet for programmer som 71 grader nord, Åndenes makt, Luksusfellen, Hellstrøm rydder opp og Ingen Grenser.
Debutalbumet «Last Chance To Dance» er spilt inn i StudioStudio på Toten og er produsert av Ronni Le Tekrø og Erland Hvalby. Albumet lanseres først i Kina etterfulgt av omfattende turne, og deretter vil det slippes i Norge medio September.
